Invitation to collaborate on development of an
online eHealth Platform

English: Welcome

Project idea

Telemedicine has enormous potential to replace a significant part of traditional health care services. This can operate at the local as well as global levels

Most developed countries have formal regulations for telemedicine making it possible to develop pioneering services. Telemedicine enables to review patients remotely, arrange online follow-up, issue wide range of certificates, prescriptions, referrals to other specialties and services

Existing online medical platforms are not linked with each other. They provide very little support to freelancing medical professionals, who have no impact on terms and quality of online service, are not able to maintain the continuity of personalized patient's care and cannot influence the price of their service. Patients and health professionals should have more control over online health services to guarantee better quality and wider availability

The purpose of this project is to build a strong team to develop an internationally recognized eHealth Platform that allows online medical services while patients and their medical documents remain assigned to a health professional rather than to the platform.

For patients

Free general access should be granted to any individual who is looking for a reliable medical information and medical service

Patients should have the opportunity to purchase selected services online, pay for them easily and access them online in a secure and confidential way

The system should allow various levels of verifying patient's identity and an easy way of transferring medical records between professionals whenever patients consent

(doctors, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, dietitian, others)

Maintaining the continuity of patient's care, monitoring diagnostic and treatment progress, deciding the fees for services should be possible

Keeping medical records in an organised and simple way on secure local or online servers. Professionals should maintain the ownership of documentation produced. Confidential information can be shared with other professionals with patient's consent
